AGROECOLOGICAL PARK MERECURE
The Agroecological Park Merecure is located in Villavicencio, at kilometer 47 on the road to Puerto López. It consists of an area of 600 hectares that offer tourists a different option for rest and recreation, where they can have direct contact with nature. At Merecure, the following activities can be developed: Eco zoo safari, fishing in the tucunare lake, llanero village, water sports, canopy, hiking, hotel, and restaurants. Upon entering the park, visitors will receive a bracelet, then they will board the train for the tour until reaching the little town of Orinoco located within the natural zoo area, where they can appreciate animals from the Orinoco region such as tapirs, capybaras, macaws, and deer in their natural habitat.
BIOPARK LOS OCARROS:
This beautiful park opened its doors to the public in 2003, it is located just three kilometers from the city, along the Piedemonte Llanero route, where visitors will have direct contact with the fauna and flora of the Colombian Orinoquia. It has been built around the lake formed by the Aguas Claras creek dam, which originates in the Vanguardia reserve. It covers an area of 5.7 hectares. Its name is a tribute to the Ocarro or giant armadillo that is in danger of extinction. It is the only center specialized in the conservation of animal species in danger of extinction in the Orinoquia. It also has the second largest freshwater aquarium in Colombia in terms of species. LAS MALOCAS PARK:
Las Malocas theme park is the ideal place to get closer to the culture of the eastern plains, in an environment surrounded by the exotic flora of the region and a varied display of bovine, equine, and minor species.

Cerro el Redentor Cristo Rey:
Cerro El Redentor is located at cra 33 B # 40, but to reach this emblematic place, you can use two reference points in the city; through the downtown area, past calle 41, where the Villavicencio City Hall building is located, continue the road until you reach the Los Espejos parking lot on the same street and there you must take the paved uphill detour. Another way to access this place is by reaching the Parque de Los Periodistas, known as Parque Infantil, diagonally across from the building on calle 41 b # 312, in an ascent that leads to the hill.
